This master's degree is unique as it combines both international social welfare policy and international health policy.
- Two-year master’s degree (120 credits). The first two semesters are spent in Oslo with a cohort of students from around the globe. The third and fourth semester are used to write a master's thesis (preferably in another country).
- The curriculum is taught by academic specialists and offers courses in international social welfare, international health, risk theory and globalization, foundational research methods and scientific theory.
- The programme’s comparative focus allows students to develop a tool set for analysis in professional fields and within many fields of research, as well as to learn more about a selected country of focus (including one’s own home country) during the research process.
- Tuition for courses is free. Subsidised student housing is available.
- All courses are in English.
